Yearbooks are Coming.... We Need Your Pictures!!
Do you have pictures of...
· Spirit Week
· Mead Stampede (Walk-a-thon)
· Halloween/Holiday Parties
· Class Field trips
· or any other fun Mead photos?...if so here's your chance to get your child's class memories into the 2011-12 yearbook.
Based on feedback from last year we are offering 3 ways to submit your pics.
1. Add photos to your child's classroom flash drive. Contact your child's teacher's "Picture Helper" for details.
**Note** When submitting photos please be sure to note the grade, class and event pictured.
How To Share Photos to Picasa:
1) You will need a Google account (**Note** Not a Gmail account, you can use *any* email address you have to create a Google account.).
· If you have an account, login.
· If not, click here to create one for your preferred email address.
2) Once logged into the Google account, click on "Photos" from the top navigation bar. Or, login directly to
http://picasaweb.com**Note** Be sure you are logged into *your* Google account when uploading since many browsers keep users logged in if they choose to do so.You can check this by looking at the top right corner of your browser where it will display which user is logged in.
3) Once on Picasa online, upload your photos. Be sure to
· Upload the highest resolution possible for each photo (ie. Don’t select the “quick upload” )
· Organize your pictures into a single folder per event type (ie. Halloween, Art Start, Zoo Field Trip, etc…).
· Label your folders with descriptive names including teacher name and/or grade so we can coordinate to the appropriate class
4) Once you finish uploading your photos, share your albums with
meadyearbook@gmail.com by viewing any album contents and clicking on the “Share” icon from the menu selection.
