New!  Netball

 Netball is a non-contact team sport with over 20 million players worldwide. Netball is a skillful team sport based on running, jumping, throwing and catching a volley-size ball. As a derivative of basketball, goals are scored through a hoop with no backboard.  For an added challenge, players may not dribble or run with the ball.  This class is will be held on Tuesdays  in April thru June  3 after school for 4-6 graders. The Musical Minds Method is a combination of piano keyboard lessons and a music workshop for kids. Using cleverly designed visual tools to teach piano skills, as well as music learning games and activities, this is the ideal intro to music instruction for kids. Best of all they choose the music that they want to learn from movies  like Star Wars and Harry Potter and TV themes from Hannah Montana and High School Musical. This class meets every Tuesday beginning April 24 for six weeks from 3:15 to 4:15 for grades 1+.  Cost is $119 which includes all materials needed.

Hot Dog USA Jump Rope

During these fun filled classes, the children willl learn a variety of Jump Rope skills  provided by Hot Dog USA, A World Champion Jump Rope Team. All skills will be catered to the children's level. Emphasis will be based on learning new Jump Rope skills, finding fun ways to stay healthy thru exercise, making friends and having fun. The skills learned will be single rope, partner skills, double dutch and long rope. They will play rope games and learn performance techniques through sharing jump rope skills to the class.

Japanese Language Class

This is a great opportunity for you to learn a foreign language. You will not only learn the Japanese language but also experience Japanese culture. You will practice how  to speak, read and write Japanese. This class will include making Origami.  We will make one an original origami each class.  We will also exchange a letter or card with children studying English in Japan!

Join us for this 7-session introduction to carton illustration.  Learn all aspects of cartoon drawing including character development, facial expressions, exaggeration, action/movement, layout, background, perspective and much more. The class emphasizes developing each child's own style in a positive encourageing environment. Classes are taught by local editorial cartoonist Jeff Johnson. All materials are provided.
